EG Kight is not only an entertainer, gracing stages around the world, but she’s also an accomplished photographer.

Her portfolio grows consistently, and her fans enjoy her photos almost as much as they do her music. Several fans have become collectors of some of EG’s uniquely inspired photographs.

When EG is touring, she captures some of the people she meets, and places she’s been, and when she’s home she enjoys capturing the essence of rural America, often setting up scenes in old buildings around her property.

Her pet goats have become fan favorites, with photos of them selling faster than most others.

EG is making a name for herself in the world of photography:

EG’s winning photograph, “Smile” was used for the cover of the 2017 Georgia National Fair’s Photography Competition and Exhibition brochure. This photo won 1st place, and won the 2016 Award of Excellence Novice Monochrome. Click here to see the brochure.

EG recently stopped at one of her favorite places out on the road. Over the last several years she’s gotten some of her best shots at Murrayville. Here are a several of the latest ones.

In August 2016, a “bucket list” trip to Wyoming gave EG these photographic memories, among others. Here are the Grand Tetons, a prong-horned elk, and her 1st place ribbon for her photo of “the most photographed barn in the world.”

The “Preaching Blues” book by Jame Nuttall has EG’s photograph on the cover! And she was excited to get her copy in the mail!

Brownie was featured on the Smithsonian Magazine website.

This one of her goat Cream, entitled “Life is Good,” hangs in a hospital in Georgia. They had a contest, and wanted photos that would “make the patients smile.” And this was one of the photos they selected.

Over the last several years, EG has donated autographed photographs to the Blues Foundation silent auction, and has helped raise money for the organization.

One of her more popular photographs,”Waiting to Play,” taken at an old plantation house in Georgia, was chosen as one of the best of 2013 for Popular Photography Magazine.

EG’s photograph, entitled “Fog,” depicting her view of the world after a life-changing illness, placed 3rd in two categories of the Encephalitis Society’s #ShowYouKnow competition, aimed at raising awareness for World Encephalitis Day. You can read about her comeback from near death here.

    EG..The day Janice and I saw you in the hospital in Macon was a very sad day for us , you was a very sick girl. They have been and still are a lot of prayers being prayed for you . . God is not finished with you here on this old earth so keep your chin up and keep the same personality and faith that you have always had…Your a good friend….
